The new PV Series power amps preserve their two-channel design, high power points and excepting Peavey features and technologies’such as DDT compression and Turbo-V Cooling. The PV 900 delivers 300 Watts per side into 4 Ohms, 180 Watts into 8 Ohms and features detented input get better controls. It’s a real workhorse.

The combo input jacks in the back are significant ! You can use whatever cord you got . Crossover is a great hallmark too . All my speaker cords now have the Speakon ends thanks to this amp . The cords wont pop out when some moron dances on the stage trying to drop on to the female singer !!

Quality:
Havent had a delinquent yet . I dont expect too…..its a Peavy !

Value:
Cant find some of these featur! es on the other amps I looked at ….at any rate !

Sound:
I really cant tell the differance from the QSC power amp that I was using before .

Overall:
I had to buy my own amp for my drumfill . I wanted the least valuable amp I could find with as much power as I could get . I bridged this amp and its all the power I require . But I bought another one so I could power a sub . I just craving power amps werent so heavy , two in one frame weigh a ton ! Ok…so I whine….Im a drummer !

Cinerama Projection Booth Uptown Theater Washington DC

Taped around 1996 during the revival of Return of the Jedi, this is in the projection booth of the Uptown Theater in Washington DC, a former Todd-AO and Cinerama house with a giant curved screen. The projectionist was Steve Guttag, who in 2003 described, online, the theater and his tenure there: Well it has now been over a year since I worked the Uptown...I was one of the projectionists at the Uptown from 1988 until 2005. After college, I only worked Saturdays though. I can honestly say, we had the best show in town. What some projectionists think as a clean/sharp print woudn't cut it at the Uptown. The screen is so big and curved, any damage just shows up more and scratches take on...
